BHS Stage 2 & 3 Care, Lunging & Teach training with    

Sarah Simpson - BHS Stage 5 Performance Coach in Complete Horsemanship, Horse Trials Specialist & Chief Assessor

This training day is open for anyone to attend and would be of particular interest to candidates who are booked in to take the assessment, those who instruct students who are training towards the BHS Stage 2 or 3 Care, Lunging and Teach and individuals who are looking to take these qualifications in the future.

The day will give everyone attending the opportunity to see what is involved with the assessments and to ask questions throughout.

Elements of the requirements will be reconstructed and the presenter will explain what an assessor is looking for and will highlight examples of good practice.

This will be an interactive day with plenty of opportunities for attendees to ask questions and gain clarification on any aspect of the assessments that they are unsure about.

Please note that this day will ONLY cover the Care, lunging and teach Units of the Stage 2 & 3 qualifications and NONE of the Riding elements.

9.00-12pm Unit 2 : Stage 2 & 3 lunge

12.30-3pm Unit 1: Stage 2 & 3 Care

3pm-5pm Unit 5: Stage 2 & 3 Coaching - theory, observation and practical
